ACTRA members can play an important role in electing our next Canadian government.
To find out
where to vote,
who the candidates are and
what you need to know before you go to the polls, visit
Elections Canada.
For ACTRA members who are based outside of Canada or for those who
will be away on election day, there are
three voting options available to you:
*ACTRA members living outside of Canada can review the
Registration and Voting Processes for Canadians Who Live Abroad, which includes information about how to apply to be on the International Register of Electors, which will allow you to vote by mail-in special ballot in federal general elections, by-elections and referendums.
Elections Canada is working hard to make the electoral process and materials more accessible. More voter information is available for
youth and
new Canadians on their website.
Your assigned polling station will be open for 12 hours (hours vary by province).
*In Saskatchewan, when daylight saving time is in effect for the rest of the country, voting hours are from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm.
